Full Design Process
At 180° Designs, we believe great design starts with connection, collaboration, and clarity. Here’s how we turn your vision into a beautifully livable reality:
1. Let’s Chat
Every project begins with a quick phone call to discuss your goals, budget, and expectations. It’s casual and conversational, just a chance to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule an on-site Power Hour Consult. This one-hour session is packed with ideas, expert insights, and answers to all your design questions. The consultation fee is $300.
After the consult, you’ll receive a customized Scope of Work outlining the project details, estimated timeline, and financial expectations. If you agree to the scope of work the $300.00 consult fee is deducted from the project initiation fee.
2. Concept Development
With your goals and budget in mind, I’ll create a visual Concept Presentation—a curated mix of inspiration images, mood boards, and samples, to ensure we’re aligned on the desired look and feel of your space.
3. Space Planning & Drawings
Next, we dive into the layout. Using detailed measurements, I’ll create drawings that show how everything fits together, like a puzzle that finally clicks. This helps us determine the most functional, beautiful plan for your space.
4. Design & Specifications
Once the concept and layout are approved, I’ll begin specifying materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures. This phase includes preparing detailed drawings and a comprehensive proposal with pricing for any items 180° Designs will source on your behalf. These documents are also used by contractors for bidding and construction prep.
5. Implementation & Project Management
With your final approval, it’s go time! Orders are placed, contractors get their detailed instructions, and your design begins to come to life.
Construction and renovation often come with unexpected twists, so I highly recommend including project management in your service package. I’ll be your go-to guide, problem solver, and point of contact throughout the process, ensuring everything stays on track, on budget, and beautiful.
Design Power Hour – $300
Need expert design guidance without the full commitment of a long-term project? The Design Power Hour is the perfect solution. This one-on-one, on-site consultation is a 60-minute deep dive into your space, ideas, and design dilemmas. Whether you’re stuck on paint colors, struggling with furniture layout, or need help pulling a room together, this hour is packed with actionable advice and professional insight.
What’s Included:
- A full walk-through of your space
- Expert answers to all your design questions
- Suggestions for layout, color, finishes, and styling
- Tips to avoid common mistakes and costly missteps
- A follow-up summary of key takeaways including links, specific recommendations, etc…(optional $50.00 add-on)
This session is perfect for DIYers, new homeowners, or anyone wanting to test the waters before a larger project. You’ll leave feeling empowered and inspired, with a clear direction and designer-approved tips you can start implementing right away.
🚨 Design SOS – $59/month or $99/month
Got a quick design question? Need a second opinion before you click “add to cart”? The Design SOS membership is your direct lifeline to a professional designer, without the need to book a full consultation. You get on-demand access to 180° Designs for help with everyday design decisions. It’s perfect for those little “I just need a designer’s eye” moments.
How It Works:
- Submit up to 4 questions per month via text, email, or DM for $59 or 8 questions per month for $99
- Get feedback on things like paint colors, furniture options, layout tweaks, or styling choices
